How to Deposit on Polymarket in 2026

To deposit on Polymarket, sign in, select Deposit, choose the method offered for your account, and follow that method’s on-screen instructions. For a crypto transfer, choose the token and network, copy the deposit address shown for that combination, send at least the displayed minimum, then refresh after the transaction confirms to check your balance.

Do not reuse an old address, guess a network, or treat a transfer as reversible. Deposit methods, assets, minimums and availability can change, so the controls and details in your own account are the ones to follow.

Before you open Deposit

Depositing is separate from creating an account and placing an order. If you do not yet have access, start with How to Create a Polymarket Account. If you are new to the product, read a market page before moving funds.

1. Open Deposit

Open the official Polymarket website and sign in with the same account method you used when you created the account. Select Deposit. The next panel should show the funding methods currently available to that account.

2. Choose a deposit method

Select the method you actually intend to use. Polymarket’s Help Center names Transfer Crypto as one example. Do not assume that an option visible in a guide, another account or an older screenshot is available to you now.

If you choose a crypto transfer, the next state should ask you to select a token and a network. Read the method screen before proceeding: a platform deposit fee and the cost charged by a wallet, exchange, bridge or payment provider are different things.

3. Review token, network and address

For a crypto transfer, select the exact token and network you will send. Then copy the deposit address shown in that Deposit flow. Polymarket says its crypto deposit addresses are tied to the profile and can differ by blockchain network.

Check the token selected on Polymarket against the token selected in the sending wallet or exchange.
Check the network in both places; an address for one chain is not a reason to send on another.
Use the address currently displayed in your own Deposit panel rather than a saved address or a profile address.
Check the displayed minimum before sending. Small transfers below the current threshold may remain pending.

4. Send, then confirm the balance

Send only the token, on the network, to the address you just checked. A small test transfer can reduce the impact of an address or network mistake before a larger transfer, but it does not make an unsupported token or network safe.

After the transaction confirms, return to Polymarket and refresh the page. The safe completion check is that the balance updates in the account you used for the Deposit flow—not merely that a wallet or exchange reports the transfer as sent.

If funds do not appear

First verify the transaction in the relevant blockchain explorer, then recheck the token, network and current minimum. Polymarket’s support guidance also suggests refreshing or signing out and back in. If a confirmed transfer still is not reflected, use official Polymarket support and provide the transaction hash, token, network and approximate amount.

Do not share a seed phrase, private key, login code or recovery phrase with anyone. Deposit recovery can be case-specific and is not guaranteed; use the official recovery guidance rather than an unsolicited message or third-party “support” offer.
